As the defending champions, the Thomians made a valiant attempt to defend the title with a young speedy team.  However, we lost to St. Peters by a solitary try in the quarter final.  Once again the Old Thomian behind the scene rounded up sponsors to meet the costs associated even though there was no resulting championship.  The team was a solid example of what Old Thomians swear by... as our College Song states "We rejoice in victory when our foes we beat, We have learnt when fortune frowns how to take defeat" The maestro behind the scenes is already hatching a master plan for 2010.
